Vida Care, a healthcare provider, has launched an online subscription service for Irish GP appointments.

Through the company’s website, patients will be able to arrange same-day online appointments. A subscription will cost €13 a month, while pay-as-you-go appointments will be €35.

Conor Kelly, the founder and chief executive of Vida Care, said the service is aimed at appointments such as repeat prescriptions which do not need to be carried out in person.

“The waiting time for a GP appointment can be anywhere from a few days to four weeks. This is seven days a week, and you can get an appointment much quicker,” Kelly told the Business Post.
