What is Vida Care?
Vida Cares online GP appointment service gives you access to a GP by video or phone call. You can see a doctor from wherever you are – at home or at work. Our doctors are available Mon – Fri: 7:00a.m – 7:00p.m, Saturday: 7:00a.m – 7:00p.m, Sunday: 7:00a.m – 7:00p.m. With up to 15-minute appointments, our doctors can take the time to understand your concerns and ensure the care you receive is second to none. When it comes to your health and wellbeing, we want to give you and your family the best possible medical advice and peace of mind, whenever and wherever.
Are you part of the HSE – can I use my medical card?
We’re not part of the HSE. Rest assured; all of our doctors are IMC registered (Irish Medical Council). As the HSE system struggles to satisfy patient demand, our private services can help ease some of these pressures.
Can I get an emergency appointment?
Firstly, it’s important to say we are not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency you should contact your nearest A&E. For non-emergencies, we can normally offer an appointment within 12 hours of booking, if not sooner. Most patients can get an appointment on the same day (subject to appointment availability)

Can I sign up over the phone?
You’ll find it easier to sign up using an internet-connected computer, tablet or mobile phone. As a fully digital service, the registration process includes creating an online account, a secure password (that no one else is aware of), giving consent to our terms and conditions. Is Vida Care only available to people from Ireland?
Not at all. People of any nationality can use our service.
Is Vida Care only available to people within the Republic of Ireland?
Yes, we cannot take appointments unless you are in the Republic of Ireland.
How do I pay for my appointment?
You can add your credit/debit card details at the end of the booking form after when making the appointment for single use. You can subscribe on a monthly or yearly basis, also using your credit/debit card.
Can I get a prescription?
How much does it cost?
For single use appointments the cost is €35.00 7am – 9am / €50.00 9am – 5pm / €60.00 5pm – 7pm. For monthly subscriptions the cost is €13.00 per month for a minimal of 6 months. For yearly subscriptions the cost is €149.00 per year.
Are there any restrictions on how many appointments I can make?
No, you can make as many appointments as you wish.
